Recently I received a mail from one of my sweetheart friend with shocking subject: " Face book, gone for ever" Shocking but not a little bit perturbing.
I am not too much into face book. You can say I am not crazy for social networking sites. I am using word "Crazy" here because some people are. Crazy about orkutting or twitting. They even write "what they had for breakfast and at what time" or "what is their girlfriend wearing for tonight party" or” whose boyfriend is cute but fussy". They spend even 12-13 hours to prove their existence in social networking site. Yes, 12-13 hours. Unbelievable, Right. But it is true. They are virtual people. I mean they write whatever. Day or night, you will be updated with all chit-chat. No secret. Nothing private. Life become an open book or rather face book.
Anyway that was a fake mail circulated about face book closure so "JUST CHILL!!" to all panic facebookians. Your virtual life is not ended. Not now.
And next surprise - a website "biwihotoaise.com". All about biwi. Now you can be married online. Not a real marriage like a sat phere wali in which your saliya suppose to steal your shoes and make a orifice in your pocket.
And if you are worried about if you don't like your virtual biwi then...No worry, Divorce is ready on the spot. Yes, indeed a very creative concept. You can divorce and knock out your marriage as per your comfort level. Alas! To get divorce in real is not "momentary" task, reality involves tears & lawyers. But such is life dearies. At least you can get feel of marriage and divorce hand in hand in "world wide web" world. So my salute to those guys, who conceptualized this beautiful concept. Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed expecting "patihotoaisa.com" in near future. I like to experiment with “husband” species also. Tall, dark & handsome. Ooooooohlala.

Kanda Billboard
Today is Vegetable shopping day for me (of course, not by choice). I have been drinking milk for 4 continuous days and I am in no mood to carry out this for life time so I prepared my mind. And with conviction that today I will do it and yes, I did. My will power is strong after all.
Objective is purchasing vegetable.
Place - Bhayandar (west)
My mamma once told me that you will get good and cheaper (My main concern) here. So I headed towards it. One billboard caught my eyes, although bill board is not new in Mumbai. At every road, in every street you will find many. Full of love of political aspirators for their prestigious political leaders. love on Birthdays of them; if they won in voting game then whatever love is produced, to show that love and how many more love, God Knows. Who cares?
So again the concern of point is billboard, and it was a billboard of pani puri wala. Nothing fancy just a little one. But what is the written most captivating. “agar pani puri me pyaj chaiye to 2 rs. extra dena padega." Ah! harsh but straight tone. Akhir wo bhi bechara kya kare. Even I started using onion as small as possible in curry. Whenever I can carry on without it, I simply do it without complain without fuss. After all, I have no other option. So why chit chat over the matter. I wont surprise the very next day it will be written " agar pani puri me pyaj chaiye to 2 rs. extra dena padega, aur tamatar chaiye to 3 rs. dena padega" After all tomato is also in demand and supply is less. Demand - supply imbalance.
So a little billboard flashed into my imagination
add Kanda : 2 Rs.
add tomato : 2 Rs.
add dhaniya : 1 Rs.
and the list will goes on. may be next day with Pav bhaji stall, Dosa etc.
But the point is why it happens? what we can do? Can we blame for everything to sarkar. "Nikkammi sarkar, after all","Agle sal is party ko vote nahi denge." That's it. What the next. New party will come into power. Do you expect them to do magic and Akshay pyala or whatever will be emerged and then Onion will be coming in a row. Wow! I imagine and I can feel joy all around me. Home Minister (of your house, of course!!) would be jumping, now they will be planning to keep vegetable in lockers instead of jewelry. Yes, babies. Vegetable purchasing will be same like bringing gold to home. Days will be coming soon. Old golden day.
You can imagine yourself telling tales of onion or tomato to your grandchildren " Once upon a time, there were tomatoes and once upon a time there were onions, Tomatoes were deep red. They were tasty to eat. They added spice in curry and all. “We will be showing them pictures of tomatoes and onions to your grandchildren. And reviving old gold days.
So guys and gals (More empathizing word is gals)! I don't want to think that you all want this to happen. After all we all love kanda and tamatar. So don't let it happen. Stop polluting. Work on reducing population. I think many problem will be solved if one is solved - population. Love your nature. Stop throwing sewage or industrial water directly into water bodies. Don't hamper natural cycle. Work on global warming. Think of earth like your own home, your kitchen or your bedroom ( Best! bedroom is always happen to be in peace and balance.) Be a genuine person for earth. use public transport wherever you can use. You can flaunt your cars in parties. Use Fan or cooler if A.C. can be avoided. Save energy. Switch off light. I know these are irrelevant to agriculture, these small-small things add in problem - Address agricultural issues as soon as possible.

"Stay delighted of my pain"
Early morning breeze turns out cruel for a person who earns his bread and butter (with no butter at all) by beating his own body ( well bodied, in fact! ) with a belt. Involuntarily or voluntarily is another matter. In his red attire, he does his best to attract so-called clients to observe him, feel entertained or pithy just to fetch a single coin. Business tagline could be "Stay delighted of my pain" or "your pain is no pain, see me." He smiles every time when he beats his coal like body with a stroke.
Do we human beings really get amused of pain of others? If so, isn't it disgusting? if not so, then what is the roots of established belief that people will like this kind of theater? Are roots buried into philosophy or in evolutionary history?
Or we human beings really give him money with a tinge of "matter of regret" in our mind.
A person just started his adulthood beating his body, rather showing his masochism, is waste of productivity & loss of economy. The problem here is not lack of resources but entrenched approach towards life which is "Beggary is the only available work." Proper education up to at least 10th might can change their though-process or so, so right to education act has a full bag of onus for sure. To change the world of beggars is one of them.
"With mirth in funeral and dirge in marriage" - a quote from Hamlet seems relevant still today. Let help to dispel it all-together.
