Fruit-cream

She scowled when she saw me with a glass on my head, my hands wondering in air and feet moving clumsily to find some space in the entire universe, "Why can't you sit properly?" It's her style of saying "Can't you stop doing something nonsense." I replied "this is my home and I can do anything." Now my sweet sharp mother came with an intelligent reply - "yesterday, you were telling this is your paraya ghar". Oh yeah. Only women can remember what someone said yesterday, day before yesterday and day ^2 before yesterday......Infinity series.

What she doesn't know was that with this balance exercise, I was trying to get some balance in my own life (as if I care if it is balanced or not). But it is fun to imagine that glass on my head, I can get things done. As soon I was near to get some balance, glass drop down from my head and make a loud cry striking on the floor. It opened my mother’s ear and mouth too who knew her daughter is nerd but still she hopes that I will be better with time. Hope is never touched whisky.  Virgin. But you always want to taste it. And I taste it too, sometime or another time but time to time.

"You will break all the glass in my home." & this continues with "Why don't you learn something. You must know how to make some dessert, what will you cook when you go to some alien world." Alien is still alien, thankfully.

Now I find this idea as fantastic. If this is "I" of 19 years or so before, I would rather refuse it all together but this is today's Improvise "I" who understand it is important to learn basic things in life. I don't know how to stitch and every time I had to run to tailor when my mother was not around. Still I can't learn, I cannot even hold knife properly (Good for my Future-bee), forget about the needles.

So yes I thought finally of fruit cream. Because I miss my hometown badly. I think of dozen ways getting my favorite food here in Mumbai like Mirchi bada, kachori, Street side chukandar k kofte and list includes fruit-cream too, which was very cheap as well as yummy in Jodhpur, 10 rupees and full bowl. (You lazy soul!! I won’t tell you all the details, try Google image for Mirchi bada, kachori and so on and on.) . Oh yeah. You heard me right, 10 rs. only. I love it. I even think of dying too just to be a ghost who steals spoon-full fruit-creams from the shop to satiate her soul. It’s not that I want free delivery but it is just that I cannot run home in every 10 days for fruit-cream.

So finally I ran to bring some creams for my fruit-cream. After searching frantically I find only one shop where Amul cream is available. FYI, in Mumbai people eat only badapav, they don’t eat fruit-cream. I mixed sugar and all fruits which I can find in home. And see only in a pinch of time, fruit cream is ready.

So for all lazy soul, who doesn’t want to waste their energy in cooking some complicated dessert and think environment friendly way and want to save some fuel, try it, it will not disappoint you, it will never and please make as much as you can eat, no overflowing, I did it but my sins are pardonable but not yours.

Now if you need any tips regarding fruit cream, you can reach to me anytime, I consider myself expert in this. You might find recipe book written by me soon on different type of fruit-cream (as if there is many) in your neighborhood bookshops. If you love it, remember I love fruit-cream.

P.S. > Courtesy to Google image for yummy picture of Fruit-cream, I can post mine but believe me, I have very little patience for clicking a nice yummy photo, I will rather prefer eating fruit-cream than putting into a nice bowl and making it ready for some nice pose.Well says, Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssss.............
